Final Blog For Digital Marketing

Intro 

In this final blog post, I want to share my personal reflection on what I have learned in this class. This class was a valuable experience and I’ve had multiple takeaways that can help me in the future and shape my career. The main thing I've learned is how important online presence is and there are so many ways to have a strong presence. Starting with Canva and how helpful it can be as a marketing tool, then how social media can help to market effectively and efficiently, also email marketing with the simplicity and effectiveness it brings to the table, SEO what is that and why it’s so important, and how Google tools can help you elevate your business as well.


Now, I want to go over the blogs that I feel are the most important ones in shaping your online presence.

Social Media Marketing 


Social Media Marketing (SMM) is an important part of modern business, and I can't put enough emphasis on the importance of it. SMM provides unique opportunities to reach and engage with target audiences across various platforms. In order to succeed, companies must develop a clear strategy with specific, measurable goals. Social media can help you reach your audience effectively if you understand things such as demographics, interests, and online behavior because they are all essential parts for creating content that resonates.  In this topic I learned that consistency is the key and it should reflect in how often you post on social media, keeping the brand image consistent through all platforms, messaging, and hashtags across platforms, as is prioritizing quality over quantity in content creation. Creativity in SMM plays a significant role as well, there are so many options that social media platforms have to offer like informational posts, visual content, interactive polls, user-generated stories, and entertaining videos helping to keep audiences engaged. Interaction with your audience is equally important. It helps to keep your followers engaged. You also need to monitor and analyze performance using tools like Google Analytics, Here is here is my post where I talk about it and how helpful this Google tool can be, because it allows businesses to evaluate their strategy’s effectiveness and make data-driven adjustments. As always it is crucial to remember that social media is constantly evolving, so staying adaptable to new trends and platform updates is important. In a competitive digital landscape, a well-crafted social media marketing strategy not only helps businesses stand out but also builds lasting connections with their audience and drives business success.


SEO 


The primary goal of all businesses is to maximize profit, which enables growth, innovation, and competitiveness. While reducing the production cost is one way of achieving this, increasing the customer base is a more promising strategy for long-term success. In today's age of digital technology, the relationship between consumers and producers has shifted to the online environment, and websites have become the prevailing platform for business. Unlike physical stores, websites rely on visibility through search engines, and hence online marketing, particularly Search Engine Optimization (SEO), is very important to acquire customers. SEO is the process of optimizing websites to rank higher in search engine results, with the first 10 ranks (first 3-5 particularly) being the most sought after, as users rarely look for results beyond the first page. So knowing how to optimize your website becomes crucial when your goal is to make profit and remain in the game long-term. 


Google Business Profile 


Google Business Profile is the last topic I want to talk about. It is a free and impactful service that helps businesses with a physical presence to manage their presence on Google Maps and search pages. It is a powerful tool because businesses are able to showcase key information like opening hours, contact details, images, and customer reviews, further allowing prospective customers to easily find and engage with them. The tool helps to drive the organic traffic as well as serves as an analytics tool that can help you to track the performance. Just remember, that you should fill out all the fields in order to maximize the use of Google Business Profile. And with all that mentioned above, remember it is FREE! 


Conclusion


This class was very interesting with a lot of interesting and helpful information, even though it seemed like a burden sometimes with a lot of writing, I enjoyed being a part of it.

    I really enjoyed reading your blog post! I agree with you on the fact that social media is a very beneficial tool for businesses. However, it is super important for marketers to create content like polls and surveys that consumers can interact with. Additionally, surveys are a great way for consumers to provide businesses with feedback on things such as the products that they have purchased from the business. This feedback will help marketers know how the business can improve the product in the future. This course also helped me realize that businesses tend to stand out more from their competitors when marketers carefully analyze their competitors and take time to create unique content and post it on the social media platform that their target audience uses that most.
